Lena teaches children to adults (oldest student is 90!!!) and her classes are for EVERYONE. Whether you have never step foot in a dance class, or you are a pro, you get a fabulous, and intense workout!

She loves bringing that personality and entertainment piece to all her classes - bringing the FUN to YOU!

Andrea Antonucci

Andrea is a Boston native and has been dancing since she was 9 years old...Tap, Jazz and Cheerleading. She grew up emulating dance videos on MTV. To this day, if she hears abeat it’s impossible for her to control tapping herfoot or shaking her hips! Andrea’s fitness journey has been through many high& lows over the years, but onceshe discovered Zumba® 6 years ago everything changed. She finally found exercise that didn’t feel like a chore and began to look forward to working out every day.

After meeting an instructor whose choreography was intoxicating she was hooked. As soon as the music began every class she could feel the stresses of life begin to diminish, if only for 60 minutes. Andrea received herZumba®licensein July 2012. She truly enjoys teaching Zumba®because she loves to share her love of dance fitness. Her wish is to guide students ontheir own fitness journey by encouraging them to let loose, have fun, sweat & reach past their limits!

Nicole Derosiers

Nicole has always been a dancer. From 'Mickey Motion' when she was only 3 years old in Jazz class, to choreographing school productions in high school, it's a part of her DNA. Nicole got into Zumba® after college and it was the perfect way to get back into shape! Her favorite instructor at the time encouraged her to get licensed, and now she's teaching almost every day! She's AFAA certified in Group Fitness, and has several Zumba® licenses and also teaches BollyX. What Nicole loves most is that you can be fit and healthy at ANY AGE AND/OR SIZE! She's seen the benefits of dance fitness in her life and has only two rules when you walk into her classroom: 1. Sweat & 2. Smile!

Born and raised in Boston, MA, Ama always loved how dance can bring people together. She led various dance troupes at Boston College. Certified in August 2011, Ama’s current and past Zumba® classes includes Boston University, YMCA Hyde Park & West Roxbury, and Newton Community Education.

Ama participates and djs in various Zumba® fundraisers and events all over Boston. By day Ama is a Senior Business Operations Consultant at OpFocus. Liz Fuller

Liz is originally from Seattle, WA and became a Zumba® instructor in April 2011. Liz moved to Boston for a research technician position in Solar Energy for Fraunhofer CSE. She truly enjoys teaching at the Z spot because she loves to share fitness and dancing with great people. Growing up Liz was enrolled in tap and jazz dance classes. She dabbled a little modern dance and ballet in college while also being a heptathlete for the women's track and field team, FYI that's 7 events :)

Liz is also licensed in Zumba® Sentao and Zumba® Toning. During the day Liz is a material scientist, and engineer.

Claire Johnson

Claire has been dancing since she was 5. Initially studying ballet, pointe, and flamenco, Claire added styles of jazz, modern, and step during her high school and college years. Taking some time to study at the The Ailey School in New York, Claire then spent 3 years dancing with various musical theater ensembles in Pennsylvania, Florida and New York.

After moving back to Boston in 2010 that she “discovered” Zumba...and LOVED the cardio, but hated the concept. Then after having a conversation with her mother and aunt (both retired and avid Zumba-enthusiasts) that an epiphany was made: Zumba is about having a great time with great people – is NOT about getting everything “right” and “perfect.” There was no going back: Claire got her license 2013 and started teaching immediately.  The Z Spot brought her back to Lena, whom she had danced with 10 years before on the Boston Panthers Lady Panthers Dance Team! When not teaching, Claire is also a licensed social worker and pageant coach.

Liana Liu

Liana has just moved to Boston from Tucson, AZ, a.k.a. The Old Pueblo, with her husband and her dog and couldn't be more excited to be a part of the Z Spot team! A Wildcat for life, Liana completed her BS in Biology and M.Ed in Secondary Education at the University of Arizona, but is loving all that Boston has to offer.

In her free time, Liana loves to take and edit photos and also grow her modest photography business. When not doing that, she spends her time trying out new recipes for dinner and new baking ones for dessert!

Dancing since middle school and through high school, Liana continued her affair with dance during college by coaching a local high school drill and dance team. It wasn't until after graduating that she discovered Zumba® and was quickly converted into an instructor herself. Her favorite parts about teaching are seeing students achieve their fitness goals and helping every Zumba® mami or papi realize her or his booty-shaking potential!

Shakira MacLyons

With roots in Jamaica and Honduras, dance is in Shakira’s blood. Shakira was born and raised in Boston, MA and has been a fitness instructor since 2013.

She teaches Zumba®, Zumba® Toning, STRONG by Zumba® and Zumba® Kids. Shakira believes it’s all about the music – if you let the music lead you, everything will come together! Her ultimate goal is to inspire all her students and make sure everyone walks away sweaty and happy. Get ready to shake your hips and squat for days!

Regan Wilbur

Regan began dancing at age 3, and has been using dance as an outlet for her contagious energy ever since. She graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Graphic Design, and was very involved in the development and growth of the now largest student group No Limits Dance Crew. Regan now works at the YMCA of Greater Boston designing everything from flyers to MBTA advertisements!

Regan was nervous to try Zumba® at first, but after being dragged to her first class, she was hooked! Once the music comes on, you can find her bouncing around the room and showcasing her signature "Zumba® smile" :)
