What is the best way to contact the studio if I have a question not answered on this page? 

Instructors are unable to take calls or questions during classes and messages are only checked once every day. For a faster response simply email us at We recommend that all of our class participants become familiar with our automated booking system. It is the easiest, fastest, and most accurate way to book classes. 


It's my first time to The Z Spot. What do I do?
Welcome! Please create an account online. We do accept new walk in students! Arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of class in order to fill out the new student waiver. Take a look at the pricing options and decide what you would like to pay for upon your first visit, you can pay for one class or purchase one of the many class packages. 


Do I need to make a reservation for class? 
We recommend that you make a reservation if you plan to attend class. We do welcome walk-ins but warn you that classes often fill up. The only way to guarantee a spot on the dance floor is by reserving your spot using our online registration system. Please note: Online registration closes 30 minutes before class. Click HERE to register. 


How do I redeem a promotional voucher from Groupon/Living Social/Gilt etc?
Click HERE to redeem your voucher. Once you complete the form, please wait up to 24 hours for an email confirming that we have added the classes to your profile. 


Can I cancel my reservation? 
Yes. You can cancel your reservation 6 hours prior to the start of class and it will be returned to your package. If you cancel within 6 hours of class start time, your class will not be returned to your package. 


For monthly and weekly unlimited pass holders, a late cancel (less then 6 hours before the class) will result in the loss of one day off of your package. Not canceling/not showing up for class will result in a loss of the class and $18 fee for unlimited pass holders

Classes with less than 5 people will be cancelled, and instructors are subject to change at the last minute. 

When should I arrive? 
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the class starts to give you enough time to register, change and find your spot on the dance floor. All classes will start on time. 


Do you allow students to enter class late? 
Classes are 1 hour long unless otherwise noted. In order for everyone to enjoy a full class each class will start at the scheduled hour and we urge you to plan ahead to arrive on time. We are all coming from different areas in the city and understand that the MBTA and traffic in the city can be unpredictable. 5 minutes late to class is usually not an issue. However, as a policy, the front doors lock 15 minutes into class and students are not allowed to enter the class more than 15 minutes late. For specialty classes, students are not allowed to enter more than 10 minutes late. 


We all love Zumba® and since we only have one hour per class we want to take advantage of every single minute! We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to dancing it out with you!

Do my classes expire? 
Single classes expire 30 days after purchase. Class packages purchased through the studio are valid for 3 months. Promotional value classes purchased through Groupon/Living Social/Gilt, etc expire on the voucher date. Weekly Unlimited Classes expire 14 days from purchase, Monthly Unlimited Packages must be activated within 2 months of purchase. 


What should I wear to class? 
Comfortable workout clothes with sneakers. Remember we will be dancing, with a lot of moving and jumping and we want you to be comfortable! Please do not forget your sneakers, Zumba® is not meant to be done barefoot.


Do you have changing rooms? 
We do not have changing rooms but have 2 bathrooms that can be used for changing. 


Do you have lockers? 
We do not have lockers but have cubbies where students can leave their belongings. 


Do you allow children in the class? 
Children must be at least 15 to take the class and must be accompanied by an adult. 

Can I receive a refund or exchange my class purchase?
All sales are final. There are no refunds or transfers on any purchases. 


Where should I park? 
2 hour metered parking is available on Massachusetts Avenue, Boylston Street and Belvidere Street. FREE street parking available after 8pm and on Sundays.

Garage parking is available within a 5 minute walk from the studio: Westland Avenue Garage and Hynes Auditorium Garage.
